Weaste Allotments your Co-op reward card cause choice

There are some things in life that we will always need to keep us going. Food is one of those. There are things that we all use around the home or at work that we can not recycle, repair, grow or make ourselves. You could help us whilst you shop at your local Co-operative for those items. How? By becoming a Co-op member and using your reward card when you shop. Your Membership gives a helping hand to you and to us as your cause.

Being outdoors, growing food and flowers and having a place to (responsibly) socialise have all played their part in the health and well-being of plot holders of all ages and abilities in the last two years. The funds raised from the reward card will be used to develop the Weaste Allotments site to make it more accessible to existing allotmenteers and more people in the local community. Funds raised in 2022 were used to create the BeEasyAccess plots with trugs to increase accessibility to growing for people with reduced mobility.

Every pound you spend on Co-op branded products and services from now to 31 October 2023 using your reward card gives us 1 pence, but only if you choose Weaste Allotments and Gardening Association as your Co-op Local Community Fund Cause. The Co-op will also give another 1 pence to support community organisations and local causes in the UK. So you can help others whilst doing your Co-op branded shopping.

So please sign up for a Co-op member’s reward card today and pop along to your local Co-op shop. If you are in Salford you have four to choose from:-
